I ask that we all take a moment to think about the idea of history repeating. This piece has nothing to do with any agenda; there are no political axes to grind. However, we have a problem... we are historically redundant. How does it repeat? Why does it repeat? When does it repeat? Who creates the repetition? How can we get out of these cycles? We will all draw our own unique answers to these questions because we all bring our own political baggage to the table. Which I feel is a good thing. To call for conformity of thought would be foolish, because narrowing our potential will only lead to an ending. For it is the diversity of thought that makes America so wonderful, because we are the melting pot of earth. More importantly, I believe the only way to stop history repeating is to utilize what we have learned from the past when making decisions for the future. Why is something that sounds so simple so difficult for our culture to apply?
